2. Testing Principle
This gas permeability tester adopts the mature and authoritativedifferential pressure method, which complies with global mainstream testing standards. The testing process follows rigorous physical testing logic to ensure high accuracy and stability:
First, place the pre-treated flat test sample in the sealed test chamber to divide the chamber into an upper gas supply cavity and a lower vacuum cavity. After fully vacuumizing the lower cavity to eliminate residual gas interference, inject the target test gas with stable pressure into the upper cavity. Driven by the pressure difference on both sides of the sample, the gas molecules penetrate through the material barrier layer to the low-pressure cavity. The high-precision pressure sensor real-timely monitors the pressure change of the lower cavity, and the system automatically calculates the gas transmission rate and core barrier parameters of the sample through professional algorithms.
Compared with other testing methods, the differential pressure method features strong gas compatibility, wide test range and stable data output, suitable for conventional and ultra-high barrier material testing scenarios.
