The peel strength test of medical infusion patches can be based on the relevant provisions of the pharmaceutical industry standard YY/T 0148-2006 "General Requirements for Medical Adhesive Tape" regarding peel strength testing.
The experiment used the PMT-05 pharmaceutical packaging performance tester for Paratronix pharmaceutical packaging testing. Experimental principle: This experiment is to obtain the peel strength of the sample by testing the force changes during the peeling process of the infusion stick from the test plate. The fixtures of the equipment are divided into upper and lower parts. The upper fixture is a moving fixture that can move upward according to the set fixture separation speed. During the experiment, the infusion patch and the test plate are respectively clamped in the two fixtures and peeled off as the upper fixture moves; A force sensor is installed inside the upper fixture, and a displacement sensor is installed inside the device. During the peeling process of the sample, the force sensor and displacement sensor can respectively monitor the changes in force and displacement in real time, thereby calculating the peeling strength of the sample.

Experimental process:
(1) Place the test infusion patch sample in a laboratory environment at 20 ℃ and 65% RH for 24 hours to adjust its state.
(2) Cut 5 samples with a length of 400 mm and a width of 25 mm from the surface of the sample.
(3) Tear off the anti sticking paper and stick the sample to the center of the stainless steel plate (test plate), making the two sides of the sample parallel to the two long sides of the steel plate. Use a pressure roller to roll along the length direction of the sample 4 times and let it stand for 10 minutes.
(4) Clamp the free ends of the specimen and the test plate separately in the upper and lower fixtures of the equipment, so that the long axis direction of the specimen is parallel to the centerline of the upper and lower fixtures.
(5) Set parameters such as sample name, sample width, and test speed (300 mm/min), click on the test option, and the test will begin.
(6) During the experiment, the system displays the force values during the sample peeling process in real time and automatically displays the test results after the experiment is completed.
(7) Repeat steps (3) to (6) until all 5 samples have been tested, and take the average of the test results from the 5 samples.
